Just a little Vietnamese I could speak would be enough to communicate happily with villagers including Em Gai Lo Lo Chai and Cháu Tiên Đong Quê. I couldn’t forget there panoramic view and clean air there environment especially young and considerate Vietnamese friends. I hope to go there again soon when flowers blossom.
The social experience, however was fantastic, and allowed us to connect with many people/ make new friends. The trip also got a lot of younger volunteers out of their comfort zones, as some had never traveled much before and had shy personalities… and the gala night was a fun way to bond with everyone. I will comeback soon.
Visited Sapa for the first time with V.E.O last weekend and it was amazing! Got the chance to not only volunteer and teach at some local primary schools but also to learn more about some vietnamese traditions and food. We had a good time volunteering together. Would definitely recommend a volunteering trip with V.E.O
